History
The Hexagone association was created thanks to the hard work of several students in the French Department at the West University in Timisoara: Alina-Mihaela Isac, Adela Giurcau, Marilena Irimia, Diana Copil and Alexandra Stefan.
Sustained in their effort by Michael Morosini, the French lecturer, this initiative slowly and surely developed, becoming an integrating part of Timisoara University life. After a long and hard struggle out of the administrative maze, after several teambuilding activities and a strong motivation of the initiating group to bring in new members, Hexagone is now a structured association. It has an official name and a NGO status and counts about 40 members. During the school year, Hexagone organizes French-related activities and promotes different cultural events.
